Privacy Policy

We collect only the information necessary to run the platform: your name, mobile number, city, locality, and profile details you provide during signup. For cooks, we also collect Aadhaar details for KYC verification and bank/UPI information for payout purposes. We do not collect any data beyond what is needed to connect cooks with families.

Your data is used solely to operate the platform: to show your profile to relevant users, to facilitate connections between cooks and householders, to process payments, and to send you notifications about your account activity. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the service.

Your mobile number is never shown publicly. It is shared with a connected user only after both parties have mutually accepted a connection request. Your locality and city are visible on your profile, but your exact address is never displayed. Cook profile information (cuisines, rates, experience) is visible to all registered seekers on the platform.

All data transmitted on our platform is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Personal and financial information is stored on secured, access-controlled servers. We use Cloudinary for media storage, Razorpay for payment processing (PCI-DSS certified), and MongoDB Atlas for database hosting — all industry-standard, secure services. We do not store card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can update your profile information from the profile settings page. To request complete account deletion, use the "Delete Account" option in your profile or email us at support@bookmyrasoyia.com. We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes. Your dietary preferences, family details, location, and contact information will never be monetised or shared with advertisers.
